Balen Shah Says RSP Will Fulfill Sudurpashchim’s Dreams, Pledges Action on Health and Infrastructure

RSP leader Balen Shah says his party will fulfill Sudurpashchim’s aspirations, promising improvements in health, education and stalled infrastructure projects while addressing a public gathering in Dhangadhi.

Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balen Shah, said on Wednesday that his party is committed to fulfilling the long-standing aspirations of the people of Sudurpashchim Province.

Speaking at the “Parivartan Udghosh Sabha” in Dhangadhi, Shah stated that RSP would work to address key challenges facing the province, including health and education services. “We will fulfill the dreams seen by the people of Sudurpashchim. We will solve problems related to health, education and other sectors,” Shah said.

Highlighting infrastructure delays, he noted that projects expected to be completed within two years have remained unfinished for decades. “A road that can be built in two years has not been completed even in twenty years. Completing such projects is our agenda,” he said.

Shah also criticized the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML, alleging that their focus has been limited to road construction. Referring to the religious site of Badimalika in Sudurpashchim, he said, “Badimalika is here — why do we need Switzerland?”

He further stated that the RSP’s objective was not merely to deliver speeches or seek votes. “We have not come here just to speak or to ask for votes; we have come to work,” Shah said. He added that the party would continue working even if it did not receive votes, emphasizing what he described as the RSP’s commitment to action.
