Renu Dahal Confident of Victory After Strong Public Support in Chitwan-3 Election Campaign

Renu Dahal says public support during her Chitwan-3 campaign has boosted her confidence ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives election, while urging media to avoid misleading poll-related content.

House of Representatives candidate from Chitwan Constituency No. 3, Renu Dahal, has said that growing public support during her election campaign has strengthened her confidence ahead of the upcoming vote.

Dahal stated that during her house-to-house campaign, she received trust, affection and encouragement from voters across the constituency. In a message shared on social media on Monday, she said the goodwill shown by the public reflects their assessment of her nine-year tenure as Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, where she emphasized commitment and integrity in public service.

She said that participation in elections requires readiness to accept both victory and defeat. However, Dahal added that she is entering the electoral race with high morale and expects to secure a comfortable victory based on voter trust.

Raises Concern Over Misleading Poll Content and Calls for Fair Election

Dahal also expressed concern over what she described as misleading content circulated in the name of opinion polls. She said some media outlets have broadcast or published materials that may be inconsistent with the Election Code of Conduct.

According to Dahal, such activities could influence voters and affect the integrity of the electoral process. She urged concerned parties to refrain from publishing or airing fabricated or misleading materials during the election period.

Emphasizing democratic values, Dahal said that ensuring a free, fair and transparent election requires cooperation from all stakeholders. She called on political parties, media organizations and voters to respect democratic norms and contribute to maintaining the credibility of the electoral process.

Dahal continues her campaign in Chitwan-3 as the election approaches, expressing confidence that public trust will translate into electoral success.
