Rabi Lamichhane Appears at Kathmandu District Court in Swarnalakshmi Cooperative Fund Case

RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane attended the Kathmandu District Court to receive a court date in the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fund misappropriation case, where 39 individuals have been charged.

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane appeared at the Kathmandu District Court on tuesday to receive his scheduled court date in connection with an ongoing legal case.

Court officials confirmed that Lamichhane attended the court as required under legal procedure, completed the necessary documentation, and fulfilled the formal process before leaving the premises. His appearance was part of routine judicial proceedings related to a previously registered case.

The case concerns the alleged misappropriation of savings funds at the Swarnalakshmi Multipurpose Cooperative Institution located in Kalimati, Kathmandu. Authorities have filed charges against 39 individuals in connection with the alleged misuse of the cooperative’s savings deposits.

Investigating authorities state that the cooperative’s collected funds were improperly handled, leading to legal action against those accused. Further hearings will proceed according to the court’s schedule.
