A Secretariat meeting held at the party’s central office on Saturday decided to launch coordinated legal and political opposition, engaging civil society and the general public. Party secretary Mahesh Basnet said demonstrations will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday in district headquarters across the country, organized by party-affiliated groups.

He added that on Sunday, district committees will organize broader protests and submit memorandums to Chief District Officers. The party also decided to initiate dialogue and coordination with political parties supporting democracy and the rule of law, as well as civil society and the public.
