Agni Sapkota Says CPN (Maoist Centre) Will Emerge as Largest Party in Upcoming Nepal Election

Kathmandu — Agni Sapkota, a senior leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre), has said his party is poised to become the largest political force in the upcoming Nepal election.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday at the party’s central office in Parisdanda, Sapkota said reports received from across Nepal indicate increasing support for the party ahead of the vote.

“Based on the reports received this morning and our collective assessment, our party will become the leading force,” Sapkota said. “Information coming from across the country suggests that the Communist Party of Nepal will emerge as the number one party.”

He said internal evaluations from various districts show the party maintaining a strong electoral position nationwide.

Sapkota added that the Nepal election should not be viewed solely as a contest for parliamentary seats but also as an opportunity to strengthen public trust and advance political agendas. He said the party expects favorable results based on its previous achievements, organizational consolidation, and grassroots engagement.

He also called on all stakeholders to ensure that the electoral process remains peaceful and fair. Urging voters to exercise their democratic rights freely, Sapkota reiterated that public support for his party continues to grow.

Political parties across Nepal have intensified campaign activities ahead of the election, each projecting confidence in their electoral prospects. The final outcome of the Nepal election will be determined by voters on polling day.
