Rabi Lamichhane Says RSP Can Form Strong Government After Upcoming Election
RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane says growing public support could help form a strong government after the upcoming election, promising structured action to resolve landless settlers’ concerns.
Kathmandu – Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has said that a strong government could be formed after the upcoming elections and that public problems would be addressed effectively.
Lamichhane made the remarks on Monday during an interaction with local residents in Kalika Municipality–3, Chitwan. He claimed that public support for the RSP is increasing across the country and expressed confidence that the party would be able to form a strong government after the election.
He stated that while the party had previously been part of the government and had made efforts to address public concerns, it had not been able to complete several initiatives. According to Lamichhane, those experiences have reinforced the need for a stronger mandate to implement policies effectively.
During the discussion, local residents raised concerns about the long-standing issue of landless settlers, saying that repeated assurances in the past had not resulted in a permanent solution.
Responding to the concerns, Lamichhane pledged to address the landless settlers’ issue through the formation of a commission and said the matter would be resolved in a long-term and structured manner.
