RSP candidate Jagdish Kharel has been elected to the House of Representatives from Lalitpur Constituency No. 2 with 39,491 votes, defeating his Nepali Congress rival by 32,071 votes.
Jagdish Kharel of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Lalitpur Constituency No. 2, according to the final vote count. Kharel secured 39,491 votes in the parliamentary election.
His nearest rival from the Nepali Congress received 7,420 votes. Kharel won the seat by a margin of 32,071 votes.
