Leadership Reshuffle at Tribhuvan and Pokhara Airports

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has implemented a leadership reshuffle by reassigning the general managers of Tribhuvan and Pokhara International Airports to enhance operational efficiency and management effectiveness.

Kathmandu — The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has announced a leadership reshuffle at two of the country’s major international airports. The general managers of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and Pokhara Regional International Airport have been reassigned as part of the authority’s latest administrative decision.

According to CAAN spokesperson Gyanendra Bhul, Jagannath Niraula, previously serving as General Manager of TIA, has been transferred to lead Pokhara International Airport. In his place, Hansaraj Pandey has been appointed as the new General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport. Pandey also previously served as CAAN’s spokesperson.

Meanwhile, Premnath Thakur, the former General Manager of Pokhara International Airport, has been reassigned to CAAN’s central office.

Officials at the Civil Aviation Authority describe the changes as part of a routine management process aimed at improving administrative efficiency and enhancing service delivery at Nepal’s primary aviation facilities.
