RSP Sweeps Nepal Election With 100 Seats as Vote Counting Continues

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged as the largest party in Nepal’s House of Representatives election after securing 100 seats while vote counting continues across the country.

Vote counting for the first-past-the-post category of Nepal’s House of Representatives election is still ongoing. According to the latest results, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured victory in 100 seats.

The party had maintained a lead since the early phase of vote counting. With results announced from 129 constituencies so far, the RSP has confirmed wins in 100 seats.

Nepali Congress in Second Place

The Nepali Congress has won the second-highest number of seats so far, securing 14 seats.

The CPN-UML has won seven seats, while the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has secured six seats. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and one independent candidate have each won one seat.
