Aaren Rai Wins Khotang Parliamentary Seat with 16,612 Votes

Aaren Rai of the Labour Culture Party has been elected from Khotang after securing 16,612 votes in the parliamentary election, defeating candidates from CPN-UML and Nepali Congress.

Aaren Rai of the Labour Culture Party has been elected from Khotang in the parliamentary election. According to the final vote count, Rai secured 16,612 votes to win the seat. With this victory, the Labour Culture Party has opened its account in the election.

CPN-UML candidate Dev Bikram Rai finished second with 12,714 votes, while Bir Kaji Rai of the Nepali Congress received 11,957 votes. Similarly, Hari Roka of the Nepal Communist Party secured 9,443 votes, and Rudra Giri of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) obtained 5,704 votes.

A total of 15 candidates contested the election under the first-past-the-post system in Khotang.
