Microbus Accident Near Ratmate, Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-2 in Makwanpur Injures Five

A microbus traveling from Hetauda to Kathmandu crashed today near Ratmate in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-2, Makwanpur. The vehicle, registration number “Ma. Pra. 03-001 Ja 0551,” lost control on a sharp bend and fell approximately 15 meters down, police reported.

Out of 10 passengers on board, five were injured, including three in serious condition. The injured were immediately rescued and taken to Kathmandu for treatment. DSP Shyamu Aryal, spokesperson for Makwanpur District Police Office, confirmed the driver’s arrest.

The driver, 22-year-old Rajaram Sah from Paramanipura Rural Municipality-2, Bara district, is under investigation. Preliminary findings indicate the accident was caused by high speed.
