Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya has expressed strong dissatisfaction after a search operation was carried out at his residences and offices, saying the move has affected his personal and social reputation.

In a statement issued on Monday, Baniya said authorities from the asset investigation body conducted raids at his properties in Hetauda and Kathmandu, seizing documents. He described the action as unexpected and raised concerns over how it was carried out, despite his willingness to cooperate with any inquiry.
