Durga Prasai, coordinator of the “Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizen Protection Mega Campaign,” has been arrested again by police. According to the District Police Office, Bhaktapur, Prasai was taken into custody from his residence in Bhaktapur on Sunday morning.
Police said he was arrested on a charge related to an offense against public peace. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prakash Jabeghu confirmed that Prasai was detained for further investigation. Authorities stated that legal procedures are being carried out following his arrest.
Prasai was previously arrested on Falgun 4 under the Nepali calendar. He was released from the custody of the District Police Office, Kathmandu, on Falgun 13 after an order from the Supreme Court. Police said further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
