Santosh Subba Wins Tehrathum Seat with 11,561 Votes, Nepali Congress Secures Fifth Victory

Nepali Congress candidate Santosh Subba has won the Tehrathum House of Representatives seat, defeating CPN-UML’s Bhanubhakta Dhakal by a margin of 879 votes.

Nepali Congress candidate Santosh Subba wins the House of Representatives seat from Tehrathum in the parliamentary election.

Nepali Congress candidate Santosh Subba has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Tehrathum in the parliamentary election. According to the Office of the Election Officer, Subba secured 11,561 votes, defeating his closest rival Bhanubhakta Dhakal of the CPN-UML, who received 10,682 votes.

Subba won the constituency by a margin of 879 votes. With this victory, the Nepali Congress has secured five seats so far in the House of Representatives. The party had earlier won seats in Manang, Mustang, Rasuwa and Dailekh-1.

The Office of the Election Officer is preparing to formally announce the final result.
