Pramod Kumar Mahato Wins Mahottari-1 Seat with 34,636 Votes
RSP candidate Pramod Kumar Mahato wins the Mahottari-1 parliamentary seat with 34,636 votes, defeating Giriraj Mani Pokharel by a margin of 22,012 votes.
Mahottari — Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Pramod Kumar Mahato has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Mahottari Constituency No. 1, according to the final vote count.
Mahato secured 34,636 votes, winning the seat by a large margin. His closest rival, Giriraj Mani Pokharel of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), received 12,624 votes. Among other candidates, Laxmi Mahato Koiri of the CPN-UML secured 6,591 votes, while Mukesh Raj Kafle of the Nepali Congress received 6,213 votes.
With the completion of vote counting, Mahato has won the Mahottari-1 parliamentary seat by a margin of 22,012 votes. The Office of the Election Officer is preparing to formally announce the final result.
