Kathmandu — Political dynamics in Magdi have taken a notable turn as National Independent Party (Rastriya Swatantra Party–RSP) candidate Yuvraj Roka has publicly announced his support for independent candidate Mahabir Pun.
Roka made the announcement on Saturday while attending a press conference organized by Pun at Birendrachowk in Magdi. Speaking to journalists, Roka stated that his political support and endorsement are firmly behind Pun.
However, Roka clarified that he has not withdrawn his own candidacy and will remain in the electoral race. He emphasized that his support reflects political alignment rather than a formal withdrawal from the contest.
Independent candidate Pun is contesting the election under the “Triangle” election symbol. The development has drawn attention in Magdi, adding a new dimension to the local electoral landscape.
