KATHMANDU — Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Vice-Chairman Dol Prasad Aryal has said citizens will now begin to feel that the government is working for their interests. Aryal made the remark while congratulating Ranju Neupane (Darshana), who has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-1.

He said a major responsibility has now fallen on the RSP to ensure good governance, curb corruption, and improve public service delivery. According to Aryal, turning public trust into concrete results is now the party’s priority.

Aryal said the encouraging support seen in the early vote counts across the country reflects the public’s desire for change. He also expressed commitment to working with political forces and civil society to advance development and strengthen good governance in the country.

He added that citizens should now begin to experience better service delivery and development from the government. “We must work together to bring prosperity to the country and establish good governance,” Aryal said, adding that transparency and accountability will be essential.

Aryal also thanked voters across the country who supported the RSP in the election and said the party would move forward by respecting the mandate given by the people. He said Neupane’s victory in Kathmandu-1 marks the beginning of the party’s success in the election.
