Pralopa Directs Representatives to Monitor Proportional Vote Counting Nationwide

Kathmandu — As vote counting under the proportional representation system begins following the House of Representatives election, the Progressive Democratic Party (Pralopa) has directed its party structure to deploy representatives at vote counting centers across the country.

Party Chairman Santosh Pariyar issued a circular instructing party leaders and responsible members at all levels to actively participate in the vote counting process.

The circular states that at least one Pralopa representative must be present at each vote counting center where proportional votes are being counted. It also directs representatives to provide the party with detailed updates on the progress of the proportional vote counting.

In the circular, Chairman Pariyar also congratulated the Government of Nepal and all stakeholders involved for the successful completion of the House of Representatives election. He said that despite challenging circumstances, the election was conducted peacefully and has revitalized Nepal’s democratic process.

Pralopa said the directive aims to ensure active monitoring of the proportional vote counting process and to safeguard the party’s votes through the presence of its representatives at counting centers.
