Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Rastriya Swatantra Party leaders Rabi Lamichhane and Balen Shah for their party’s notable success in Nepal’s recent general election, describing the result as a reflection of public trust in new leadership.

Kathmandu — Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the leadership of Nepal’s Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for the party’s strong performance in the country’s recent general election.

In a congratulatory message sent to RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior party leader Balen Shah, Sharif said the electoral outcome reflects the confidence of the Nepali people in new and dynamic political leadership.

Sharif noted that the public mandate demonstrated the trust voters have placed in emerging leaders and political forces seeking to bring change to Nepal’s political landscape.

The message also highlighted the historic friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and Nepal. Prime Minister Sharif expressed Pakistan’s willingness to work closely with Nepal’s newly elected government to further strengthen bilateral relations.
