Nepal’s Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Mahabir Pun, has resigned from his position. The resignation was confirmed by Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal, who shared the information through a post on social media. According to Khanal, Pun stepped down to devote his time fully to his ongoing campaign.
“Mahabir Pun has resigned to focus on his campaign,” Khanal wrote. Pun has been actively involved for years in social initiatives, technological innovation, and efforts to expand digital access in rural areas. He continued to emphasize technology and innovation during his time in office.
