Kulman Ghising, chairperson of Ujyalo Party Nepal, has said that he will continue to shape his political work in line with the spirit and expectations of the Gen-Z movement.
Speaking at a party program held in Lalitpur on Saturday, Ghising stated that even during his tenure as a minister, he worked in accordance with the sentiments of the younger generation, and that he intends to maintain the same approach in the days ahead.
He said he remains well informed about the Gen-Z movement as he was personally involved in various aspects related to it, including attending the funerals of those who lost their lives and taking updates on the condition of those injured during the movement.
“I have understood the emotions of the families of the martyrs. I visited many places, including Aryaghat. It was deeply painful for me,” Ghising said. “Rather than merely speaking, we tried to act by understanding emotions. As a minister, I did everything that was within my capacity.”
Ghising acknowledged that initiatives such as building statues and establishing a Gen-Z Park took time, but expressed confidence that the upcoming government would continue and complete those efforts.
