Nepali Congress Nominates Pradip Paudel from Kathmandu-5

The Nepali Congress has decided to field General Secretary Pradip Paudel as its candidate from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 for the House of Representatives election, with nomination filing underway today.

The Nepali Congress has decided to nominate its General Secretary Pradip Paudel as the party’s candidate from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 for the upcoming House of Representatives election.

The decision was made during a meeting of the party’s Parliamentary Board, party leaders said. According to the schedule, Paudel is set to visit the Office of the Election Officer at 3:00 pm today to register his candidacy.

Paudel was elected from the same constituency in the 2079 BS (2022) general election. He has confirmed that he will once again contest from Kathmandu-5 in the forthcoming polls.

Candidate registration is taking place nationwide today for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21. Political parties are finalizing their candidates as the nomination process continues across the country.
