Nepali Congress Announces Ramesh Aryal as Candidate in Kathmandu–3

The Nepali Congress has named Ramesh Aryal as its candidate from Kathmandu–3, with other major parties also confirming their nominees for the constituency.

The Nepali Congress has announced Ramesh Aryal as its candidate for Kathmandu Constituency No. 3. Party leaders confirmed that the decision was made during a meeting held on Tuesday.

Aryal brings prior experience in local governance. He served as the ward chair of Ward No. 6 in Gokarneshwar Municipality after being elected in the 2017 local elections.

Other major parties have also finalized their candidates for the constituency. The Rastriya Swatantra Party has fielded Rajunath Pandey, who previously worked as the chief of the municipal police of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

The CPN-UML has selected former Constituent Assembly member Rameshwar Phuyal as its candidate. Meanwhile, the Ujyaalo Nepal Party has also entered the race, nominating Kulman Ghising to contest from Kathmandu–3.

With candidates from multiple political parties now confirmed, Kathmandu Constituency No. 3 is expected to see a closely watched and competitive contest in the upcoming election.
