Pradeep Paudel Urges Government to Release Karki Commission Report on Bhadra 23–24 Incidents

Pradeep Paudel has called on the government to release the Karki Commission report on the Bhadra 23–24 incidents, stating that the delay has raised questions.

Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Paudel has urged the government to make public the investigation report prepared by the commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki regarding the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24.

Paudel said the report has already been submitted to the government, but it has not yet been made public, raising questions.

“The investigation report submitted by the commission formed under the leadership of Gauri Bahadur Karki to probe the events of Bhadra 23 and 24 has not been made public by the interim government,” Paudel said. “This has created various doubts and suspicions.”

He questioned what has prevented the government from releasing the report.

“With the tenure of the interim government nearing its end, why is it not fulfilling its responsibility by making the report public?” he said. “Publishing the commission’s report is both the duty and responsibility of the government. Keeping it undisclosed, like previous commission reports, is unfortunate.”

Paudel also said that the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting has decided to call on the government to make the report public. He stated that delaying the publication of such a report goes against transparency and accountability, and urged the government to release it.
