Nepali Congress Rolpa has initiated strict monitoring after discovering the misuse of the party’s official letterhead, stamp, and signatures by individuals falsely claiming to be conflict-affected members. Kishor Kumar Acharya, chairman of Nepali Congress Rolpa, confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that such fake documents have been used by people residing overseas.
According to Acharya, some individuals have presented themselves as active Nepali Congress members and conflict victims, submitting false documents to foreign authorities to obtain visas in countries including the United States. The party is treating these activities seriously and has launched an investigation.
Nepali Congress Rolpa is coordinating with Nepali embassies and overseas party public relations committees to identify and stop such fraudulent practices. The party has issued a clear warning against engaging in illegal activities involving the misuse of its identity.
The Rolpa committee has urged all party levels to prevent these malicious acts and expressed its commitment to taking strict actions to protect the party’s reputation. Legal and diplomatic measures are also planned to address this issue.
This move demonstrates the party’s dedication to safeguarding its identity and verifying membership authenticity, ensuring that misuse of its name and documents is closely monitored and controlled.
