Nepal Currency Rates Updated, Dollar Above Rs 152
Nepal Rastra Bank has released Wednesday’s foreign exchange rates, with the US dollar trading above Rs 152 and Gulf currencies also remaining strong.
Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for Wednesday, with the US dollar continuing to remain above Rs 152 in the Nepali market.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.08, while the selling rate stands at Rs 152.68.
The exchange rates of the Euro and British Pound have also remained high.
The buying rate for one Euro has been set at Rs 177.09 and the selling rate at Rs 177.79. Similarly, one British Pound Sterling is being exchanged at Rs 205.24 for buying and Rs 206.05 for selling.
The Swiss Franc has been valued at Rs 194.64 for buying and Rs 195.41 for selling.
Australian and Canadian Dollar Rates
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Australian dollar at Rs 109.03 and the selling rate at Rs 109.46.
The Canadian dollar is being exchanged at Rs 110.10 for buying and Rs 110.54 for selling.
The buying rate of one Singapore dollar stands at Rs 119.06, while the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 119.53.
For Japanese currency, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen has been set at Rs 9.57 and the selling rate at Rs 9.61.
Exchange Rates of Gulf Currencies
The buying rate of one Saudi Riyal has been fixed at Rs 40.53 and the selling rate at Rs 40.69.
Similarly, one Qatari Riyal is being exchanged at Rs 41.72 for buying and Rs 41.88 for selling.
The UAE Dirham has been valued at Rs 41.40 for buying and Rs 41.57 for selling.
From Asian Currencies to Kuwaiti Dinar
The Chinese Yuan is being exchanged at Rs 22.42 for buying and Rs 22.50 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the Malaysian Ringgit at Rs 38.48 for buying and Rs 38.63 for selling.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean Won stands at Rs 10.04 and the selling rate at Rs 10.08.
Similarly, the Swedish Kroner has been fixed at Rs 16.39 for buying and Rs 16.46 for selling, while the Danish Kroner stands at Rs 23.70 for buying and Rs 23.79 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar is being exchanged at Rs 19.41 for buying and Rs 19.49 for selling.
Among the highest-valued foreign currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar has reached Rs 495.86 for buying and Rs 497.82 for selling.
The Bahraini Dinar has been fixed at Rs 403.40 for buying and Rs 404.99 for selling, while the Omani Riyal stands at Rs 395.01 for buying and Rs 396.57 for selling.
Indian Rupee Exchange Rate Stable
The exchange rate of Indian currency has remained unchanged.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of Indian Rs 100 at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
The central bank has stated that exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It has also noted that commercial banks may set different rates, and updated details are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
