Journalist Rishi Dhamala has registered his candidacy for the House of Representatives election from Rautahat-4, contesting on the ticket of the Aam Janata Party.

Journalist Rishi Dhamala arrives at the Office of the Chief Election Officer in Rautahat–4 to register his candidacy for the House of Representatives election on Tuesday.

Journalist Rishi Dhamala has registered his candidacy for the House of Representatives election from Rautahat–4. He submitted his nomination on Tuesday after reaching the Office of the Chief Election Officer in Rautahat–4. Dhamala is contesting the election as a candidate of the Aam Janata Party, which is led by Prabhu Sah.

His wife, Eliza Gautam, currently holds the position of vice-chairperson in the Aam Janata Party. Although he is contesting from Rautahat–4, Dhamala is originally from Dhading district. Before entering electoral politics, he was known for hosting the television program Janata Janna Chahanchhan on Prime Television.
