Siddhartha Bank Limited has launched a fully virtual ‘Siddhartha PhonePe Credit Card’ in collaboration with PhonePe Payment Service. The card was unveiled by the bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Rameshwar Prasad Basyal, during an event held at the Nepal Premier League (NPL) venue.
The credit card is available to Siddhartha Bank’s mobile banking users and enables fast, secure, and contactless payments across more than 1.8 million PhonePe merchants nationwide, without requiring any physical card. Instant activation, real-time control features, and enhanced security are its key benefits.
As part of a promotional offer, new users can receive up to NPR 7,500 in cashback.
PhonePe Chief Executive Officer Diwesh Kumar said the partnership aims to offer Nepali consumers a fully digital and secure payment experience. Including Siddhartha Bank, customers of eight major banks can now access the PhonePe credit card service.
