Kathmandu — Shishir Khanal, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6. According to the final vote count announced on Friday, a total of 43,863 votes were counted in the constituency, with Khanal securing 27,719 votes.
His closest rival, Sabuj Baniya of the Nepali Congress, received 6,647 votes, while Aman Maske of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) secured 4,373 votes.
