Kathmandu — Prime Minister Sushila Karki visited CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli at his residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur, to offer condolences after the death of his father, Mohan Prasad Oli. Karki arrived in Gundu along with her husband, First Gentleman Durga Subedi, and met Oli to express sympathy to him and his family.
Oli is currently observing the traditional mourning period following his father’s death and has been staying away from public political engagements. Mohan Prasad Oli died on Friday at the age of 97. Since the news of his death, political leaders, well-wishers and relatives have been expressing condolences to the Oli family.
