According to the report, Iran secretly obtained a Chinese-built surveillance satellite, which it used to identify and monitor American military sites before launching drone and missile attacks.

Citing leaked Iranian military documents, the report states that the satellite—launched by China in late 2024—was later handed over to Iranian forces. The system reportedly provided time-stamped coordinates, orbital data, and high-resolution imagery.
These capabilities allowed Iran to track key US military locations across the Gulf region, capturing images both before and after attacks carried out in March.
