Prakash Gautam Wins Makwanpur-1 Election With 36,033 Votes, Defeats NC Candidate Mahalaxmi Upadhyay

Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Prakash Gautam has been elected from Makwanpur-1 with 36,033 votes, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Mahalaxmi Upadhyay by a margin of 21,995 votes.

Makwanpur — Prakash Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Makwanpur Constituency-1. According to the final vote count, Gautam secured 36,033 votes to win the parliamentary seat.

He defeated Nepali Congress candidate Mahalaxmi Upadhyay (Dina) by a margin of 21,995 votes. Upadhyay received 14,038 votes in the election. Similarly, Rameshwar Ranamagar of the CPN-UML obtained 12,783 votes, while Vijay Gautam of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) secured 10,788 votes.

With the announcement of the final results, Prakash Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has officially been elected as the Member of the House of Representatives from Makwanpur-1.
