Lumbini Province government assigns new secretaries and approves multiple administrative procedures during cabinet meeting in Deukhuri
Lumbini Province has approved a series of administrative and policy-related decisions, including the reassignment of provincial secretaries and the endorsement of new operational procedures during a cabinet meeting held in Deukhuri on Thursday.
The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Chetanarayan Acharya at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Rapti Valley, focused on administrative management, institutional coordination, and infrastructure-related arrangements within the provincial government.

The Lumbini Province cabinet decided to assign Ram Parajuli as the secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development. Januka Pandit has been given responsibility as secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives.
Health Minister Khem Bahadur Saru shared details of the decisions following the cabinet meeting. The changes are expected to support administrative functioning across key provincial ministries involved in infrastructure and agricultural governance.

Cabinet Approves Study Leave Procedure
The meeting also approved the “Procedure for Prior Study Approval and Study Leave Approval, 2083.”
The newly endorsed procedure was presented by the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers. The framework is intended to regulate the approval process related to study permissions and study leave within the provincial administration.
