Thousands of students across Nepal can now begin planning their next academic step after the National Examination Board (NEB) published the Grade 12 annual examination results on Friday. The board approved the results during a meeting earlier in the day before making them public.
The results come nearly two months after the examinations concluded, ending weeks of anticipation among students and their families. For many, the Grade 12 outcome serves as a crucial gateway to university admissions and professional education opportunities.
According to the NEB, 64.13 percent of students who appeared in this year’s examinations have passed.
A total of 418,170 students from across the country participated in the examinations, which began on April 27 (Baisakh 14).
