A motorcycle accident involving Shram Sanskriti Party chair Harka Sampang briefly raised concern among supporters on Friday after he was injured while travelling to a public programme in Udayapur district. Party leaders say his condition is stable and the injuries are minor.
Sampang was on his way from Katari to an event in Belaka when the accident occurred. He sustained a minor injury to his hand but did not require any major medical intervention.
What drew attention after the incident was his decision to continue with his schedule. Despite the injury, Sampang reached the venue and took part in the programme as planned.
Party Leaders Urge Supporters Not to Worry
Senior party leader Sudan Kirati shared an update on social media following the accident, saying the news had naturally worried party members, well-wishers and supporters.
According to Kirati, Sampang’s health condition remains normal and he has already resumed his regular activities after receiving treatment for minor injuries. He also wished the party chair a speedy recovery.
The incident quickly became a topic of discussion among Sampang’s supporters, many of whom pointed to his decision to attend the programme despite being injured.
Attention on Sampang’s Public Style
The accident itself was not serious, but the episode once again highlighted the public image Sampang has built around constant field engagement and direct participation in community activities. His presence at the scheduled programme shortly after the accident became a talking point among supporters following the event.
The Shram Sanskriti Party has said there is no cause for concern regarding Sampang’s health and that he remains active.
