Rajiv Jha Joins RSP, Backs Manish Jha in Dhanusha–3

Rajiv Jha has joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party and withdrawn his candidacy in Dhanusha–3, announcing support for RSP candidate Manish Jha ahead of the upcoming election.

Rajiv Jha, Central Vice-Chairperson of the Rastriya Mukti Party (RMP) and a candidate from Dhanusha Constituency No. 3, has joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). Jha formally entered the RSP on Wednesday and announced his support for RSP candidate Manish Jha in the same constituency.

He had earlier filed his candidacy from the Rastriya Mukti Party under the election symbol “Janto” (grinding stone). Following his decision to switch parties, he withdrew his candidacy and extended support to Manish Jha, who is contesting under the RSP’s election symbol “Ghanti” (bell).

The development comes amid recent changes within the Rastriya Mukti Party in Dhanusha. A few days earlier, Central Executive Committee member Sanjay Singh and Central Secretary Sanjay Chaudhary, along with several party leaders from the district, left the party and joined the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).

With Rajiv Jha’s entry into the RSP, the electoral dynamics in Dhanusha–3 have shifted ahead of the upcoming election.
