Kathmandu — Leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have started discussions regarding the formation of a new government, according to party Vice President Swarnim Wagle.
Wagle said that talks are currently ongoing among party leaders on the issue of forming the next government, as Nepal has yet to finalize a new government following recent political developments.
A photo shared by Wagle shows several leaders together, including RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, Vice President Swarnim Wagle, Vice President Dol Prasad Aryal, and senior leader Balen Shah. Balen Shah has not been seen attending formal RSP party meetings after his election victory.
According to Wagle, the leaders are engaged in discussions related to government formation, but no official statement has been issued regarding any agreement or alliance.
There has been no confirmation on the formation of a new government, any political agreement among leaders, the role of Balen Shah in the process, or the timeline for government formation.
