Kathmandu — Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Vice-Chairperson Dol Prasad Aryal, popularly known as DP Aryal, has said that the long-standing issues of corruption in leadership and power-centric political thinking in the country can only be ended through the people’s mandate.

Speaking to voters on Tuesday in Ward No. 7 of Nagarjun Municipality under Kathmandu Constituency No. 9, Aryal said the upcoming election is crucial to replacing outdated and unsuccessful political practices with leadership that is accountable to the public.

He stated that the repeated cycle of ineffective leadership, corruption, and centralized power in Nepal’s politics can now only be ended through the votes of citizens. Aryal added that the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 presents a significant opportunity to displace old and failed political practices and to elect leadership that is responsible, honest, and results-oriented.

During interactions with voters, key issues raised included education, healthcare services, job creation, local development, and good governance. Aryal expressed his commitment that the Rastriya Swatantra Party would not limit its election manifesto to paper but would implement it in practice.
