RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden Rules Out Electoral Alliance With Any Party

RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden has said the party is not considering an electoral alliance with any political party and has fielded candidates in all 165 constituencies.

Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, has said the party is not considering an electoral alliance with any political party at present. Speaking to journalists in Jhapa, Lingden said the RPP has fielded candidates in all constituencies and that election campaigning is currently underway.

“We have fielded our candidates in all 165 constituencies. In Jhapa, candidates from the CPN-UML are campaigning for votes, and our candidates are also campaigning. There is no possibility of an electoral alliance,” Lingden said.

He added that the party is not thinking about electoral cooperation with the CPN-UML or any other party at this time. In previous elections, the RPP and the CPN-UML had formed electoral alliances in Jhapa and some other districts.
