Rastriya Prajatantra Party Hosts Tea Reception on Prithvi Jayanti in Kathmandu

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party is organizing a tea reception at Bhrikutimandap on Sunday to mark the 304th Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day, alongside the Nepali Congress special convention.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is hosting a tea reception on Sunday to mark the 304th Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day. According to party spokesperson Gyanendra Shahi, the program will begin at 1:00 pm at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.

The RPP has been organizing tea reception programs every year on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti. Leaders from various political parties have been invited to attend this year’s event. RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden personally visited senior leaders of different parties to extend invitations.

On the same day, the Nepali Congress is holding its special general convention at the same venue. The Nepali Congress convention will take place in the main hall area, while the RPP’s tea reception will be held in the parking area.

Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Dhamala said the two programs would not affect each other despite being held simultaneously. He said arrangements had been coordinated through discussions with RPP Vice-Chair Buddhiman Tamang.
