Rautahat — Rabindra Patel of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Rautahat Constituency No. 3, according to the final vote count. Patel secured 27,318 votes to win the parliamentary seat.
His nearest rival, Govinda Chaudhary of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), received 11,954 votes. Meanwhile, Prabhu Shah, chairman of the Aam Janata Party, finished in third place with 9,890 votes. Similarly, Kundan Prasad Kushwaha of the CPN-UML secured 6,605 votes in the election.
