Rabindra Mishra Pledges Ethical Leadership in Kathmandu-1 Campaign

RPP Senior Vice Chair Rabindra Mishra vows transparent leadership, long-term national vision, and action on drinking water, electricity, sewage, and flooding issues in Kathmandu-1.

Rabindra Mishra, Senior Vice Chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and candidate for Kathmandu Constituency No. 1, has pledged to dedicate himself to serving the nation and its citizens if elected.

Speaking during a door-to-door campaign in the Anamnagar area on Friday, Mishra said that past political leadership had secured public mandates but failed to bring meaningful change to the country. He stated that he has entered the electoral race with a different vision and commitment.

Addressing voters, Mishra promised that if elected through public trust, he would engage only in responsible and ethical conduct. He said his focus would be on contributing to policymaking and legislation with a long-term perspective on what Nepal should look like in the next 20 to 30 years.

Mishra added that raising key national issues effectively in Parliament would be one of his primary objectives. Referring to local concerns, he acknowledged the challenges faced by residents of Kathmandu-1, including shortages of drinking water, electricity supply issues, poor sewage management, and recurring flooding.

He pledged to take personal initiative in addressing these problems and to coordinate with relevant authorities to seek solutions. “When citizens face problems, I will be present and make every possible effort to resolve them,” he said during the campaign.

Mishra urged voters to give him the opportunity to translate development plans into action rather than leaving them limited to paper commitments.
