Rai has signed with Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, a club competing in Cambodia’s top-tier women’s league. The Cambodian Women’s League features eight teams and is considered the highest level of women’s football in the country. Before this move, Rai played in the Jordan Women’s Pro League, representing Ittihad Club during the previous season and contributing to a successful campaign. Earlier in 2023, she also played for Kickstart FC in India, gaining key experience in regional competitions.
Rai first gained attention at just 16 years old when she debuted for Nepal’s national team in 2021, scoring in her first match. Since then, she has established herself as a regular presence in the squad, known for her vision, passing accuracy, and ability to control the tempo of the game.
At the domestic level, she continues to represent APF Club, one of Nepal’s leading departmental teams, balancing both club and international responsibilities.
