President Ram Chandra Paudel has said that political stability is essential for Nepal’s sustainable development, prosperity, and social justice.
Speaking while inaugurating the Silver Jubilee of the Indigenous Nationalities Upliftment National Foundation and the Nepal Indigenous Knowledge Conference Festival on Sunday, President Paudel said political stability is extremely necessary to achieve long-term development, national prosperity, and social justice.
He said political stability would only be possible if the state implements an inclusive system of governance in practice by taking all castes and communities into confidence.
President Paudel said Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multilingual, multicultural, and multi-religious nation and noted that, as expressed in the national anthem, the country is a beautiful garden made up of hundreds of flowers. He said that to make this garden more beautiful, progressive, and balanced, equal access, equal opportunities, and equal respect for all castes, languages, cultures, and communities are indispensable.
