Parbat Nepali Congress Backs Special General Convention in Kathmandu

The Parbat District Working Committee of the Nepali Congress has issued a statement calling on party members to take part in the party’s special general convention to be held in Kathmandu on Poush 27 and 28.

The Parbat District Working Committee of the Nepali Congress has issued a statement expressing its support for the party’s special general convention. In a statement released on Friday, the district committee called on party members to participate in the special general convention scheduled to be held on Poush 27 and 28 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.

“The Nepali Congress is currently engaged in a major campaign to build a transformed and dynamic party that both party workers and the general public are seeking. With a firm commitment and determination to reform the Congress and, along with it, transform the country, the party will chart its future course. It is for this reason that the Nepali Congress has called its special general convention in Kathmandu on Poush 27 and 28,” the statement said.

The statement has been signed by Parbat District Working Committee President Yubaraj Joshi, Provincial Assembly Constituency ‘A’ President Rajkumar Chhetri, Provincial Assembly Constituency ‘B’ President Parbin Gurung, along with presidents of various rural municipality and municipal working committees.
