Nepali Army Rescues Two Men Buried in Soil Collapse in Dhading

Two men trapped under a soil collapse in Dhading were rescued by the Nepali Army and transferred to hospital for further treatment, authorities said.

Two men buried under a sudden soil collapse in Dhading have been rescued by the Nepali Army, officials said. The incident occurred in Salangghat of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality–3 while plastering work was underway at a local residence.

According to authorities, a mass of soil suddenly collapsed from above, trapping the two men beneath it. Following the incident, a rescue team from the Bhairab Dal Battalion of the Nepali Army, based in Gajuri, was immediately deployed to the site.

The team conducted the rescue operation in coordination with other security agencies. After the rescue, both injured men were taken to Malekhu Teaching Hospital for further medical treatment, the Nepali Army said.
