Nepal Government to Submit FY 2024/25 Annual Report to President

Nepal’s Cabinet has approved the submission of the government’s annual report for the fiscal year 2024/25 to the President, in accordance with constitutional provisions.

Kathmandu — The Government of Nepal has decided to submit its annual report for the fiscal year 2024/25 (2081/82 BS) to the President. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers held at Singha Durbar on Monday, which resolved to present the report to President Ram Chandra Paudel.

Government spokesperson and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal said the Cabinet approved the move in line with constitutional provisions. Under Nepal’s Constitution, the government is required to submit an annual report outlining its activities and performance to the President each year.

Briefing the media after the meeting, Aryal said the Cabinet also approved an order to collect data for the National Economic Census 2025 (2082 BS). “The Cabinet decided to submit the Government of Nepal’s annual report for the fiscal year 2024/25 to the Right Honourable President and approved the order to conduct data collection for the National Economic Census 2025,” he said.

The economic census is expected to generate updated data to support national economic planning and policy formulation.
