Kathmandu — Vote counting in Nepal’s House of Representatives election continued overnight across several constituencies, with early results showing changing leads among major political parties.
According to the latest updates received around 4:30 a.m., candidates from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (Bell symbol) are leading in several constituencies including Kathmandu-7, Kathmandu-8 and Bhaktapur-2. Meanwhile, the CPN-UML (Sun symbol) is ahead in Banke-2.
Kathmandu-7: Ganesh Parajuli Maintains Strong Lead
In Kathmandu Constituency-7, Ganesh Parajuli of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has taken a strong lead in the ongoing vote count.
