Kathmandu — The Government of Nepal has approved a grant for the Gen Z Martyrs’ Family Welfare Society, according to an official Cabinet decision. The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting held on Monday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel said the grant will be provided to implement welfare programs for families of Gen Z martyrs.
The Cabinet also approved the promotion of Ghanashyam Parajuli to the post of Deputy Auditor General. In another decision, Research Director Om Bahadur Khadka was promoted to the position of Additional Chief Research Director at the National Investigation Department.
Minister Kharel further said that Kul Prasad Nyaupane has been nominated as a member of the management committee responsible for managing assets and settling liabilities of problem-ridden cooperative institutions.
The meeting also approved a memorandum of understanding to be signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Oman. In addition, the Cabinet endorsed a labor agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Israel.
The Cabinet further approved an order related to the use of ethanol-blended petrol and endorsed the Forest (Third Amendment) Regulation, 2082, Minister Kharel said while announcing the decisions.
