NCP to Emerge as Leading Party if Elections Are Free and Fair: Pushpa Kamal Dahal

NCP coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal says his party will emerge as the leading political force if elections are conducted in a clean, fair, and transparent environment.

Kathmandu — Pushpa Kamal Dahal, coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has said that his party would emerge as the country’s leading political force if the election is conducted in a clean, fair, and manipulation-free environment.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Dahal reiterated his confidence, stating that election outcomes are determined by voters, not by activities on social media. He said online discussions and trends do not have the power to decide electoral results.

Referring to the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Dahal remarked that hype and noise on social media platforms would not translate into real political success. He said the Nepali people have already recognized the leaders and parties capable of uniting the nation, standing firmly against corruption, ensuring good governance, and advancing economic development.

Dahal also said the election would be held on the scheduled date of Falgun 21, urging the public not to harbor any doubts. He emphasized that a transparent and peaceful election process would reflect the genuine will of the people.
